1. Activities for newcomers - When brand new English language learners first enter your school, it can be overwhelming especially if it's the middle of the year. It's hard to know what to do first. Here are some activity-based tips to get you started.

4. Board Game - At the bottom of the page you will find dozens of small icons. Each is a link to a page where you can download a free board game and flash cards to review an ESL topic. 
5. BookBox - audio-visual stories, ages 2 to Pre-Teen; web-based jukebox of digital books. Hear the books read in a multitude of languages. Individual words can be followed in a number of languages also. You do have to register but it is free registration. The site offers downloads of the stories for a fee, but the online books are free.

8. Dave's ESL Cafe Idea Cookbook - There are currently 806 recipes (ideas) in 25 categories in this cookbook.
9. English@Home has quite a few resources for learning English. I found the ESL games great fun. Give them a try!
10. English Daily - free exercises, idioms, common abbreviations, slang, proverbs and much more
11. English-Forum by Aardvark presents interactive English language exercises for use in ESL or EFL classes.

14. English Listening Language Lab - Listen to the stories or phrases and select the correct answer. Many activities. Great for listening skills! 
15. Englishpage.com - Free online English lessons & ESL / EFL resources; some intrusive banner ads, but they have good resources.
